I AM CINEMA presents regular, film clip based, audience interactive seminars on the BIG screen and online that address every aspect of cinematic creation. Webelieve in fostering a more comprehensive and artistic understanding of all the components that come together to create the full spectrum of cinematic experience - cinematography, color orchestration, editing, mise-en-scene (composition), performance, production design, sound design, writing and everything else in between!
Our I AM CINEMA Film Seminars take you to a new and perhaps next level of aesthetic and cinematic understanding and appreciation. In fact, our film aesthetic seminars extend well beyond where most film school education ends. We're not content teaching "the basics". Regardless of a particular seminar's thematic focus, we're gonna expand on those "basics"...big time! We'll take a look at the traditional approach and employment of different elements of film creation only as a starting point. Then we'll examine how the masters of cinema have reinterpreted those original meanings, intentions and usages to create their own indelible, unforgettable and world renown brand of personally realized cinema.
