We’re beginning deliberately, launching a few programs at a time while we build the larger community, resources, and programming that will grow around them.

I AM CINEMA presents regular, film clip based, audience interactive seminars on the BIG screen and online that address every aspect of cinematic creation. We believe in fostering a more comprehensive and artistic understanding of all the components that come together to create the full spectrum of cinematic experience - cinematography, color orchestration, editing, mise-en-scene (composition), performance, production design, sound design, writing and everything else in between!
I am cinema - cinetorium
your personal portal to explore new thinking on narrative design and aesthetic construction
I AM CINEMA’s archival library and collection of co-founder Thomas Ethan Harris's thoughts and impressions on various indelible cinematic moments from film history. Our Cinetorium is a curated collection of movie segments, individual scenes and sometimes just single shots from masterworks that are imbued with Thomas's personal commentary and observations.
I am cinema - PROJECT Fiscal Sponsorship
Helping personal cinema find the support to exist.
The I AM CINEMA provides fiscal sponsorship for select independent film projects that align with our mission and commitment to personally authored, humanistic, and artistically ambitious cinema.
Through fiscal sponsorship, eligible filmmakers can pursue charitable contributions and grant opportunities while remaining focused on bringing their work into the world.

ON THE HORIZON
We’re developing the next generation of I Am Cinema programs — creating more ways for cinematic artists to develop their voices, learn from one another, find meaningful support, and bring personal work into the world.
Future programs include our Writing Labs, Artist-to-Artist program, Cinematic Artists Registry, screenings and discussion series, and other initiatives currently taking shape.
We’ll introduce them thoughtfully as I Am Cinema grows.
